See tab switches on the Results page

If a student leaves the worksheet during completion — even just for a moment — the application records it. This helps teachers identify suspicious activity and check for possible cheating.

On the Results page, you can see a summary of these events within each student’s submission. The system tracks two types of activity:

• A tab switch means the student moved to a different browser tab while completing the worksheet.
• The second type shows when the student left the browser window without switching tabs. This can happen, for example, when they click on the desktop, open the Start menu of their operating system, switch to another application, interact with a pop-up notification, or click into another window in split-screen mode. Even briefly checking the clock on the taskbar is recorded, as it causes the browser to lose focus.

These two types of activity are displayed separately on the Results page, giving you a clearer picture of what happened during the session.
Important: a single focus change does not prove cheating on its own. Teachers should always interpret this data using their own professional judgment.
