Competency Tracking in Redmenta

Redmenta is the AI-powered education platform that helps teachers turn data into action. Instead of focusing only on grades and percentages, Redmenta uses competencies (learning outcomes) to give a deeper picture of student learning. This shows not just the outcomes, but also the exact skills and knowledge areas where students need extra support.

With competency tracking, you can:

  • Create worksheets aligned to learning outcomes.
  • Let AI evaluate whether outcomes were achieved.
  • Track progress for individual students and groups over time.

Competency-Aligned Worksheets

When creating a worksheet, you can link each activity to competencies. These are curriculum-based (e.g., national, school or custom standards). This ensures that every task contributes to a meaningful picture of student learning.

AI Evaluation: Competencies — Step-by-Step

Run AI evaluation

  1. (Optional) If auto-evaluation is off, start AI evaluation for this worksheet from the Evaluate menu.

  1. Click a student’s name to open their submission.

  1. At the top, switch from Summary tab to Competencies tab.

  1. Here you’ll see each learning outcome and the AI-suggested status on the left: Achieved / Not achieved.

  1. To change a result, click the status buttons on the right — your edits are saved automatically.

Check multiple students quickly

  • Return to Evaluate and select the next student.
  • Repeat the review and edits as needed.

Competency Profiles & Tracking

As students complete more worksheets, their learning path and competency development progress updates automatically in their profiles. Student’s profile includes:

  • Learning Journal: Here, you’ll find a date-ordered record of all worksheets the student has completed, the related competencies, and whether the student managed to achieve them or not. The Learning Journal provides an excellent overview of your student’s learning path, as it logs every activity together with the corresponding learning outcomes.

  • Competency Profile: Here, you can see all the competencies the student should achieve based on the worksheets they have completed. You can also view the status of each competency — whether it has been achieved or not. This provides a clear picture of the student’s progress in the learning process.

These act as a “compass,” helping you see exactly what each student needs to achieve next.

👉 With competency tracking, Redmenta helps you go beyond grades to see how your students are really progressing — making evaluation more meaningful and actionable.
