Learning Programs

Learning Programs connect the AI assistant to the curriculum set up in your workspace. Workspace admins add curricula, instructional designers build the learning structure, and teachers select their learning program and goals before generating. This helps the AI produce worksheets and plans that fit what you actually need to teach, with less rework.

How it works

Workspace admins set up curricula

1. Go to Workspace Settings → Curriculum Settings.

2. Add a curriculum from the pre-built catalogue or create a custom curriculum.
3. Rename curricula if needed and decide which ones are active in the workspace.

What happens when you remove a curriculum:

• Existing worksheets and units created under that curriculum stay in the workspace as read-only.
• Educator profile subject associations tied to that curriculum are cleared and are not restored automatically.
• You can still add the curriculum again later, but the cleared subject associations will not come back on their own.

A workspace can have more than one curriculum active at the same time.

Instructional designers build Learning Programs

Inside each active curriculum, instructional designers set up the structure teachers will see.

They can:

• Create learning programs within a curriculum.
• Add unit templates inside each learning program.
• Write learning goals for each unit.
• Import a .docx or .pdf file at three levels (subject, learning program, or unit) to generate curriculum structure and goals automatically, then review and adjust.

Once the curriculum is active, this structure becomes available to teachers in the AI assistant.

Teachers generate curriculum-aligned content

When a teacher opens the AI assistant (Creator's Assistant), a new Curriculum-aligned section appears if the workspace has active curricula.

To use it:

1. Open the AI assistant.
2. In the Curriculum-aligned section, select an active learning program from the list.

• Learning programs tied to unpurchased workspace licenses will appear but cannot be selected.

3. Load preset learning goals from the chosen learning program, and add any custom goals you want to include.
4. Start generating. The AI uses the selected learning program and goals as context for the outline and content.
5. After the AI produces an outline, the page switches to a split view, with the outline on one side and the chat on the other, so you can refine content while keeping the structure in view.

You can also fork a past thread to reuse the same learning program and goals, so you do not have to rebuild the context from scratch.

Access and roles

• Workspace admins manage curricula in Workspace Settings → Curriculum Settings.
• Instructional designers create and edit learning programs, unit templates, and learning goals, and can import Word or PDF files.
• Teachers select learning programs and goals in the AI assistant but cannot edit curriculum content.

Learning programs that are tied to licenses your workspace has not purchased show up in the picker for transparency, but teachers cannot select them.

Curriculum alignment in the AI assistant means less time spent re-explaining what you teach and more time working with useful output. Workspace admins set the structure once, instructional designers maintain it, and every teacher in the workspace can generate content that fits the same curriculum. This supports more consistent quality across classes and makes AI generation feel much closer to your real work in the classroom.
