Outline Block Editor

When you generate a worksheet on Redmenta, the AI-generated outline consists of simple blocks that you can edit one by one before turning it into a worksheet. This is for teachers who use AI to draft worksheets but want precise control over each part.

How it works

When you generate a worksheet, it now appears as a list of blocks instead of one long document. Each block can be a task, a rich text section, an audio element, an image, or a page break.

1. Generate an outline as usual using an assistant.

2. The outline appears as separate blocks stacked in order.
3. Move your mouse over any block to see its toolbar.

4. Use the toolbar to:

• Edit the content directly
• Give a short AI instruction to rewrite or adjust the block
• Delete the block if it does not fit your plan

5. Move your mouse between two blocks to reveal an insert area.

6. Use the insert area to add new content where you need it, such as:

• A new task
• A rich text block
• An audio element
• A page break

8. Review and adjust your outline until it matches what you want to teach
9. When you are ready, convert the outline to a worksheet the same way as before.

All teachers see this block-based view automatically in the outline editor. You do not need to turn anything on to use it.

AI image generation is being introduced with this release but is not yet available to teachers. Once it becomes available, you will be able to add contextual images from within the outline. We will share separate guidance when that happens.

This update lets you fix or improve a single part of an AI-generated outline without touching the rest of your work. You can add new content in the exact spot it belongs, instead of regenerating everything and hoping for a better result. In practice this means less time correcting AI output and more time planning how you want each worksheet to look and feel.
