It is important to note that your details will be treated confidentially, in accordance with current GDPR regulations and will not be passed on under any circumstances.

You can change not only your name and email address, but also your password at any time, which we explain more [here](https://help.redmenta.com/en/tutorial/how-can-i-change-my-password). And if you want to replace your forgotten password, you can find detailed instructions [here](https://help.redmenta.com/en/tutorial/how-can-i-replace-my-forgotten-password).

Once you have registered, you will be asked for one more piece of information when you first log in: whether you are a teacher or a student using Redmenta. In principle, neither of these gives you a major advantage, it just helps to tailor your user experience so that only the relevant information is displayed to you on the site, which may differ for teachers and students in some cases.

You can also fill out the profile page - that you can see above - for an even more personalized experience! Read about how to edit your profile more in detail [here](https://help.redmenta.com/en/tutorial/how-can-i-edit-my-profile).
