What is a Jumper Code?

The Jumper Code is an easy-to-remember code. With the help of this code, students can be easily navigated to their worksheets or to their Redmenta group. With its help, you don't have to invite the students by email or assigne them to the worksheet one by one. You just easily send them the Jumper Code and they can find the content by themselves in seconds.

If they enter this code in the Jumper menu, the system will immediately navigate them to the appropriate worksheet (or group).

You can enter the Jumper Code of your worksheet in the Settings menu of the worksheet. The Jumper Code can be any word(s) or number.

If you share a worksheet with a Jumper Code (and you do not assign the groups or persons separately), then the worksheet will not appear on the students' desktop. It is therefore important that they know the Jumper Code as well as where to find the Jumper menu (the Jumper menu is in the header). When sharing with Jumper Code, select the All Redmenta users or Anyone on the Internet sharing level. Read about the details here.

Groups have a Jumper Code as well, so students can easily be invited to newly created groups. The Jumper Code of the group is automatically generated by Redmenta. You can find this code on the group's own page by clicking on the Manage button.
